Yes ive yet to find a deviant who tests and reviews games. so i decided to make myself do that job : )

You see many manga updates and reviews but ive never seen games been reported on here. i think its highly gameist lol

So here is the first on many reports on games!

A litte information first though..

I only have these consoles ( nintendo wii , nintendo ds , xbox 360. ) If anyone has a Ps3 or any other console and would like to help on game reviews .. Then please leave a comment.

Also before we begin , as this is the first of many reviews , ill be doing a couple of games ive recently played or seen. ( at the London expo ).

Now let the game reviews begin!


Lets kick it off with the wii!

This month we see many titles hit the wii, including mario and sonics new Olympic title ,Wii fit plus, And many others like super mario bros. wii. But the one title we cant wait for is Tales of symphonia 2 : a dawn to the new world. The story basically takes place two years after the first.Many characters return in this squeal, even yuan! , with a last name!


Mario and sonic and the winter games:

One game i have been able to get my hands on was the mario and sonic at the winter games.
It was very good! Although the controls can be very frustrating at times. But isnt this the problem with most sport games on the wii?

The graphics were beautiful, crisp and clear. Many new characters also brought viewers attention. new characters included metal sonic on the sonic team!

The games are all a little new and refined, i personally love the bob-sleigh track. It was fun and active!

All in all i give the game 8 out of 10.
8 because of the lack of many other characters that would work nicely with this game.

Breaking news!:

ALSO! news for the wii.. you can now pre order the latest version of the limited edition of the black wii! you will be able to Pre-order it from all good games stores.

Castlevania Judgement:

I also went out and brought the game castlevania judgement. only because i knew the style of the characters were developed by the same artist who made death note. and you can really tell who is based on who from the game to the anime. The main character reminded me of light, the young girl maria reminded me of misa. and the ghoulish looking character reminded me of Rem. Its fighting style is street fighter style, but you can roam around the stage. you can also customize your favourite characters with the customization option. you can unlock new outfits and weapons has you develop through the game. I found it very different from the previous game on the nintendo Ds.
I give this game a 7/10
A 7 because, to me i feel as though they let down fans alot. more could be done with this game.


Now lets move to the nintendo Ds.

Professor layton 2:

Last month we saw some great titles hit the ds. One included the 2nd journey of the great professor layton, and pandora's box. last night i finally finished this beautiful tale. i suggest if you have a ds and have yet to buy this..Buy it!
The story is set just after the 1st professor layton game. Many characters make a come back, such as flora , chelmy, and many more. there are also a cast of brand new characters that give the story line huge emotions.

The puzzles seem to have been made easer then the first games puzzles. The animation clips are amazing and the voice actors do their part well. All in all , this game gave me suspense all the way through up to the ending. Watching the last clip of this game just makes you want to hurry out and buy the 3rd one! Professor layton has defiantly made its spot on top 5 ds games in my books.

I give this game 9/10
A 9 because of the story lines and graphics. all tied together nicely, with a touching ending.


Time hollow:
I re-played this game recently and thought about how great it was for a point and click game.
The scene is set where ethan (main character) is home and happy with his family when all of a sudden the times change when he goes to bed. he wakes up and finds himself in a parallel world. And most importantly his parents have gone missing!

The game gives a very good story line. and some very good game twists!
The graphics are nice and anime, and the cutscenes make this game a believable anime!

I give this game a 8/10
8 because of the lack of voices throughout the game. it would make this type of game very good if only they had more voicing.

And now for the Xbox360 review.

Halo 3 - Odst:
I recently brought the new halo 3 odst game. the story line was amazing. and new features such as the secret cut scenes( which can be found in the city) are simply gripping. they show a new side to the halo series. The fact that theres no chief in this game doesn't change anything. the odst comrades in the game are great characters , my favourite character is buck , his character made me laugh every time he gave his speech.

The graphics are close to halo 3. many levels seem the same, but the objections were very different.

The ending felt a tiny bit unfinished, but that's easy to understand because this shouldn't of even been a game , until bungie decided to give us more!

The biggest change to this game is the nightspec. it is very helpful for sniping out aliens in the city levels... speaking of the city levels. i was first very confused when playing this game.once the story line took you to the city , you had to find clues that would help you find your missing team mates. ( the first thing i thought was, how would this work if your in co-op mode. But it works fine! ) But after finding the first clue, you understand what the city level it truly for. Finding clues by using a small "bleeping" noise that lead you to the clue. Which would then take you to a flash back to one of your team mates. and you would then play a level with them. Then once completed, you return to "rookie" in the city. you then must search for the next clue.

I give this game 9/10
a 9 because the ending felt unfinished. it also felt too repetitive.

i have more games yet to play on the xbox. so they will be done for next months reviews.
